SAML2.0 based SSO

Many companies now make use of a single service to provide SAML2.0 single-sign on to multiple business critical applications. This provides consistency, simplification, and auditable logging of access. It would be great if Applixure was able to act as the service provider in a SAML2.0 workflow

SSO using Entra ID is now possible with Applixure (using OIDC), however we will look to support more popular SSO solutions as a upcoming addition to this support.

Even though all are more or less based on OIDC standard (as one of the supported option for most in IdP market), the actual implementation of it is never 100% the same from one solution to a next and that why it is hard to provide generic OIDC support without having to have lot to configure for it.

Hello. We typically don't give binding estimates for any new features, but this is now scheduled to become available by the end of the August, if everything goes as planned.

    Hi Kalle,

Is there any anticipated ETA for the OIDC based SSO mentioned below? Still keen to see this feature introduced if possible!

    Hi Kalle,

Thanks for coming back on this idea. OIDC support would be perfect - I only mentioned SAML as it seems to be the default position for our IdP (OneLogin), but OIDC is equally possible so that would certainly work for us.

We are looking into adding (OIDC -based) SSO support into Applixure so that logon into Applixure products using Azure AD/Entra ID (at first as it's the most requested SSO authentication provider) credentials would become possible. Presently enabling this capability is still waiting for us first to move Analytics logon over to our central authentication server that Workflow and Feedback products already use.

Is this what you were after ultimately or some other single-sign on scenario? I know you mention using SAML, but OIDC is more strightforward for us to support for SSO as it requires much less configuration as I understand it.
